My client is an established engineering concern based in Somerset West. They have a position for a Tender / Financial Administrator. Knowledge of Bid preparations for a professional consultancy advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
Searching for relevant tenders on various platforms and distribution to management.
Co-ordination, compilation and completion of tender documents
Source and edit standard information required for tender submissions
Ensure that the bid process is followed, and proper templates are used
Coordinate collection of tender documents and tender delivery ensuring submissions are made on time.
Submitting high quality completed tenders on time
Follow up on tenders submitted and maintain a database.
Update all spreadsheets, databases and records.
Ad-hoc Pastel Evolution Processing
Excellent administrative skills
Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Professional skills must be above average
Excellent Planning and Time management capabilities
Good organisational and communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and a high standard of spoken and written English;
Be able to multi-task with a strong 'Can do' attitude Able to function well in a highly pressurized, deadline-driven environment
Should be logical with keen attention to detail.
Strong editing and proof reading background
Uses independent judgment in completing activities and operate under general supervision.
Ability to motivate other members in the team
